Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 153(AA), 353, 379, 342, 452, 332, 333, 435, 436, 337, 338, 323, 224, 225, 160, 120(B),147,148,149 and Section 3/4 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

A girl was allegedly gang raped and murdered. In protest against the aforesaid occurrence, a mob of 400 to 500 people became frenzy and started committing mischief etc by damaging the public property. The petitioner and others were identified among the members of the mob. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is a teacher in a Govt. School.

No.20438 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Ramgarh Police Station Case No.16 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
