The present writ petition is filed for the following relief(s):- " ................. for issuance of appropriate Writ/Order/Direction commanding the respondent no. 5, the Sub- Divisional Officer, Marhaura. Saran (Chapra) to start allotment of rations against Petitioner's PDS License No. 04/2007, which on account of Petitioner's long illness stood attached with another PDS licensee namely, Awadhesh Manjhi vide Order contained in Memo No. 587 dated 29.01.2011 of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Marhaura, Saran (Chapra)."

Without going into the merits or demerits of the case having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already approached the authorities concerned by way of a representation dated 19.02.2024 (Annexure P/7), the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Sub-Divisional Officer, Marhaura, Saran at Chapra (Respondent No. 5) to consider the said representation and pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law. The authorities before passing any orders shall put the petitioner on notice and give him an opportunity of hearing. The entire excise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
