The petitioner, Pintu Yadav @ Randheer Kumar Yadav, apprehends his arrest in Naugachhiya Rail P.S. Case No.09 of 2014, registered under Sections 364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Karan Singh Pareek, the informant, made allegation that the petitioner and others kidnapped him for ransom, but the villagers and police surrounded the village. Thereafter, the accused persons left him and fled away.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a police constable. He was on duty on the date of occurrence. The informant was an agent of a private company. He use to purchase maize from the farmers, but on account of some dispute, this case has been lodged making false allegation

Perused the record.
It appears that the informant named the petitioner and other accused persons. The informant also made his statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and alleged that the petitioner along with other accused persons kidnapped him for ransom.
In view of these facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
