JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-04-2017 The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that his mother's name has wrongly been entered as "Veena" in the mark sheet of All India Senior School Certificates Examination held by Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 2013. According to him, correct name of the petitioner's mother is "Kiran Mala Pandey" which is apparently mentioned in the mark sheet issued by the CBSE of Secondary School Examination held in the year 2011. He is said to have made a request to the CBSE in 2013, which is yet to be disposed of. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel representing the CBSE.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2790 of 2017 (2) dt.21-04-2017 2/2 My attention has been drawn to an order dated 06.04.2017, passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19352 of 2016 and it has been submitted that an application is required to be submitted under clause 69(1) of the bye laws of the CBSE for such correction, which is to be duly forwarded by the School, last attended by him with the admission form and School Leaving Certificate of the school where the petitioner had studied and Class 12 Admission Withdrawal Register.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with a direction that if the petitioner makes an application to the CBSE duly forwarded by the School along with the documents as noted above, the Chairman, CBSE will be required to ensure that the grievance of the petitioner is addressed and redressed, if permissible, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the communication of the present order.

This application stands disposed of with the direction as above.
