Petitioner seeks bail in Excise Spl. Case No.1270 of 2018 arising out of Araria RS P.S. Case No.693 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a), 36, 38 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total 63 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the car. Petitioner is driver of the car. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 15.10.2018 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.72606 of 2018(2) dt.06-12-2018 2/2 each to the satisfaction of the II Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Excise Spl. Case No.1270 of 2018 arising out of Araria RS P.S. Case No.693 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
