Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Siwan (Town) P.S. Case No. 492 of 2016 registered under Sections387, 388/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Accusation is of making demand of ranson of Rs. 2,00,000/- by four persons named in the FIR including the petitioner to the informant and also giving threatening of dire consequences to the informant and his family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated co-accused namely, Qyum Mian @ Star has been granted bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 12.01.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 215 of 2017.
