The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case no. 232 of 2016, registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 506, 504, 147, 307, 354 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that seven persons named in the F.I.R. including the petitioners came at the door of the informant Anita Devi and started to move the bit of bamboo. On protest made by the informant, Babu Chand Mandal (Petitioner) caught her hair thereupon Petitioner No.1 Hiralal Mandal caused injury at her head through "Dabiya". when Mahendra Mandal, husband of the informant, rushed to save her then petitioner No.2 and petitioner 3 caused injury to him

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17003 of 2017 (2) dt.15-05-2017 2/2 through lathi. At that time, Hiralal Mandal and Babuchand Mandal snatched cash of Rs. 5,000/- from the pocket of his husband, whereas Yasoda Devi snatched silver and golden ornaments worth of Rs. 9000/- from the neck of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners and informant are agnates and occurrence took place due to land dispute. Further submission is that the injuries as found on the person of the informant are simple in nature. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM, Birpur, Supaul in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No. 232 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
