The petitioner is challenging the order dated 24.07.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Saharsa, by which the arms licence of the petitioner has been cancelled. 3.

From the impugned order dated 24.07.2023, it appears that no notice has been issued to the petitioner and the petitioner has not been heard before cancelling the arms licences granted to him.

In these circumstances, the impugned order is held to be illegal. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed

Patna High Court CWJC No.5573 of 2024(2) dt.20-04-2024 2/2 and the impugned order dated 24.07.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Saharsa is quashed.
