Petitioner, Khedu Sahani, is in custody since 15.09.2016 in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 159 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a), 53(a), 53(c) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. 3.

According to prosecution case, total 12 pieces each containing 200 M.L. country made liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the nature of offence and recovery made from the possession of the petitioner and the period of detention of this petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the
