1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Memo No.7363/Confidential, dt.

17.9.23, issued by the Superintendent of Police, Vaishali at Hajipur (Respondent No.3), whereby and whereunder the Respondent No.3 has suspended the petitioner from the post the Chaukidar, with immediate effect and headquarter has been fixed in Police Line, Hajipur (Vaishali). And for any other writ/writs, direction/directions, as this Hon'ble

Patna High Court CWJC No.5570 of 2024(2) dt.25-04-2024 2/2 Court thinks fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case."

At the outset, the learned counsels for the parties, are in agreement that the present writ petition can be disposed off with a direction to disciplinary authority to conclude the departmental proceeding under contemplation, by taking the same to its logical conclusion and passing the final order, within a period of six months from today, failing which the order of suspension dated 17.09.2023, passed by the Superintendent of Police, Vaishali at Hajipur, shall stand revoked automatically. It is directed accordingly.

3. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall cooperate in the concerned departmental proceeding.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
