Petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 01 of 2020 for the offence under sections 8/20(b)(ii) (A) of the NDPS Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case there is recovery of 500 gram Ganja.

The petitioner is in custody since 4.2.2018.

Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for more than six months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit Rs. 25000/- cash before the court below and on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23424 of 2020(2) dt.16-09-2020 2/2 deposit of Rs. 25,000/- the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge,NDPS Act, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Special Case No. 01 of 2020.
