Petitioner seeks bail in Sonpur (Hajipur) Rail P.S. Case No.40 of 2018 registered under Sections 8/20/22 of the NDPS Act.

The police apprehended one Akhilesh Kumar Singh from platform of Hajipur Railway Station and from his possession 8 Kgs. of Ganja was recovered. Akhilesh Kumar Singh is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner, Arun Kumar and the name of Krishna Saw as his accomplices. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Save and except the so called confessional statement of the accused, Akhilesh Kumar Singh no narcotic and psychotropic substance was recovered from possession of the

Considering the fact that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Sonpur (Hajipur) Rail P.S. Case No.40 of 2018.
