In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No.292 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have killed the daughter of the informant by strangulation, however, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased, there is no eye witness to the occurrence, he has three children and the marriage has been solemnized preceding nine years, so he deserves to bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20925 of 2020(4) dt.28-08-2020 2/2 This Court has seen the post mortem report including the inquest report as well as the statement of the witnesses.

Looking to the entirety of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected for the present.
