2. By the impugned order dated 20.12.2022, the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Patna in Arms License Case No. IX-235 of 2016.

3. The petitioner has an alternative remedy of appeal.

4. In these circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this application with a liberty to file an appeal before the appellate authority within thirty days from today.
