2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sikraul P.S. Case No. 143 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections-366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections-8 & 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. Allegedly, the petitioner is said to have enticed away the minor daughter of the informant for the purpose of marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, the victim was in love and affection with the petitioner and due to which, she left house out

5. On the otherhand, learned counsel appearing for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that as per medical examination report, the victim is a minor girl and the petitioner kidnapped her with ulterior motive. It has also been submitted that the victim became pregnant and gave birth to a baby.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as also the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
