JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 31-03-2015 Mr. Amit Kumar Anand, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State are present. The petitioners have questioned the order dated 21.10.2014 passed by the Collector, Purnea in E.C. Case No. 36 of 2013 whereby an order of confiscation has been passed in relation to the food grain, tractor and tailors seized in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 76 of 2013 which was followed by the registration of confiscation case in question. The order of confiscation passed under Section 6A of the Essential Commodities Act (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') is appealable under Section 6C of the Act before the judicial authority who is the District Judge concerned.
