JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-04-2017 Heard Sri Awadhesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner. None appeared on behalf of the State. The petitioner, has approached this Court invoking its writ jurisdiction in the year 2010 with a prayer to direct the respondents to appoint him as Constable pursuant to advertisement, which was published in the year 2004 vide Advertisement No. 01 of 2004. A plea has been taken that one Sri Shambhu Chaurasiya had obtained 15 points , however the petitioner had got 14 points, but since the petitioner was senior to him in age, he was required to be selected. The Court is of the opinion that the plea which has been taken is sufficient for rejection of the present writ petition. It is
Patna High Court CWJC No.8275 of 2010 (5) dt.27-04-2017 2/2 admitted case that even as alleged the last candidate had got more points than the petitioner. Moreover, at such belated stage, no order can be passed.
The writ petition stands dismissed.
