JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-12-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 494 of 2017, dated 16.10.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 379 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner, who had appeared in the examination for appointment on the post of Constable, is alleged to have taken away the question booklet which was supposed to be kept behind in the examination centre. For the aforesaid act, the petitioner is being prosecuted in the present case.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.72841 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2018 2/2 against the petitioner above named, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-13th, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 494 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
