Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is in jail custody since 30.4.2016 on the accusation that he produced fake voter identity card when he went to appear in the examination.
Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that, as a matter of fact, petitioner had left his original voter identity card at his home and when he reached examination center, he came to know that officials were demanding voter identity card/ identity card from the concerned candidate and after that he took voter identity card from cyber café. It is further submitted that it is not a case of impersonation and moreover, petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.
