The petitioner is in custody in connection with Gayghat P.S. Case No.266 of 2019 for the offences under Section 399, 402 and 414 of the IPC.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the name of the petitioner was disclosed by co-accused Kunal Kumar. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession to connect the petitioner with the crime. The petitioner is in custody since 25.10.2019. Considering the fact that the name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement and he has remained in custody since 25.10.2019, the Court is inclined to grant bail to

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-15, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Gayghat P.S. Case No.266 of 2019.

On release, the petitioner shall render his services as a volunteer for a period of one month in the dedicated Covid-19 hospital and for which he is required to report to the Civil Surgeon/Nodal Officer of the concerned region, who shall appropriately utilize his services in the pandemic.
