2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, when the informant was alone in the house, petitioner came there and committed rape on her. Thereafter, on several times on the pretext of marriage, petitioner committed rape on the informant as a result of which she became pregnant. Later on, petitioner refused to marry with her.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to previous enmity. Petitioner is house owner and due to dispute of house rent, this case has been

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the victim, in her statement recorded under section 183 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has supported the prosecution case.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation and aforesaid statement of the victim, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
