2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offence punishable under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, raid was conducted in the commercial premises of this petitioner and it was found that electric energy was being stolen by plugging in the L.T. line and load was found to be about 3.739 kW due to which South Bihar Power Distribution Co. Ltd. sustained loss of Rs. 3,34,453/-

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to village

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26755 of 2024(4) dt.19-06-2024 2/2 politics. It is further submitted that there is no premises in industrial area of the petitioner and as such he has not caused any loss to the power distribution company in question. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2 vehemently opposed the bail application and submits that the petitioner has caused huge amount of loss to the company in question.
