The present application has been filed seeking direction to enhance the retirement age of the petitioner from 62 to 65 years, in view of the order dated 01.07.2019 passed by the learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Arjun Prasad Singh vs. The State of Bihar and Ors. (

Patna High Court CWJC No.9860 of 2021(2) dt.11-11-2022 2/3 CWJC No. 17373 of 2009).

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that for ventilating his grievance, he represented before the respondent Registrar, Veer Kunwar Singh University however, the same is pending consideration since 13.12.2020 and no final order has been passed . On the other hand, learned counsel for the university submits that the application be disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, who will pass necessary order on the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner. Having considered the submissions, made on behalf of the parties, the present application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 5, to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order as early as possible, preferably, with a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

It is made clear that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in terms of the order passed in identical matters as has been mentioned in the representation.
