In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 105 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 47(A), 57/54 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

As per allegation made in the First Information Report, the police got secret information that a tempo having four cartoons of liquor is coming from Deoghar to Chanan whereupon the police intercepted the said tempo and the foreign liquor was seized. The petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 4.8.2016.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Dhanohar Kumar, be released on bail on
