The petitioner seeks bail in Dighalbank P.S. Case No. 69/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that he got information that two persons were sitting on a stolen motorcycle and both the persons were apprehended. They did not show any chit of paper. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was sitting on the motor-cycle and co-accused Sonu Kumar Ram was using the motor-cycle from before. Petitioner had no knowledge about the fact that the vehicle was stolen. Petitioner is in jail since 09.08.2016 and he has got no criminal antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54491 of 2016 (2) dt.12-01-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Dighalbank P.S. Case No. 69/2016.
