Basu Vs. State of W.B., (1997) 1 SCC 416.

In the counter affidavit, it is inter alia averred that the petitioner is resident of Nepal and is an accused in many criminal cases and has filed number of writ applications as well. It is pointed out in the counter affidavit filed by Shyamdeo Mahto, that he is

Learned counsel for the State points out that departmental proceedings have been initiated against Respondent No. 8. Thus, I find that no further action is required in the present Contempt Petition. The same is disposed of.
