The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order and/or direction commanding and directing the Respondents-authorities concerned to declare the appointment of Respondent No.8,

Patna High Court CWJC No.15111 of 2015(2) dt.01-09-2023 2/2 Pankaj Kishore made on compassionate ground to the Post of Clerk (Correspondence) vide order No.280 dated 04.02.1989 of Gandak Command Area Development Agency, Muzaffarpur, as illegal and void and quash the same and further for directing Respondents Authorities concerned to terminate the services of Respondent No.8 with immediate effect and stop payment of his salary and for grant of other relief/reliefs to the petitioner in the facts and circumstances of the case, as may deem fit and proper."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition, to which the learned counsel for the respondents have got no objection.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
