For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Anil Prasad Singh, Advocate For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Rajendra Nath Jha, APP =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 05-08-2016 By way of the present application preferred under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report (for short 'FIR') of Mokama P.S. Case No. 193 of 1999 registered, inter alia, under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the allegations made in the FIR as contained in Annexure-1 to the present application. The allegations made therein do attract the ingredients of a cognizable offence. Moreover, the matter is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44788 of 2015 dt.05-08-2016 2 / 2 quite old, as the FIR was registered in 1999 and it is not known what happened to the outcome of the investigation of the case. The order-sheet of the court below has not been appended to the present application.

In that view of the matter, I do not find any merit in this application. Accordingly, the application is dismissed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- AFR/NAFR CAV DATE N.A.
