The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1374C of 2020 for the offence registered under Sections 323, 498A, 379, 406, 494 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation in the complaint is that the complainant after marriage was regularly tortured, when she was ill was sent home and further he also solemnized second marriage. On the last occasion, the matter was sent to the Mediation Center as as per the report dated 31.01.2023, the mediation has failed.
