The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 419, 467, 468/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have sold the land of the informant by committing forgery.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent, not named in the FIR and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is only deed writer. He submits that there is no specific overt act against the petitioner.

He further submits that petitioner has two criminal antecedents as stated in para-3 of this application. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 506 of 2022. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) devendra/- U T
