JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 09-06-2020 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is under suspension on the charge that he was found consuming liquor despite total prohibition. In this case supplementary affidavit has been filed enclosing a copy of the order dated 11.07.2018 passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in CWJC No. 13778 of 2017 whereby the Court granted time to the authority concerned to conclude the departmental proceeding within a period of four weeks. In that case enquiry was likely to be concluded.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9843 of 2019(3) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State would submit that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Gopalganj to conclude the departmental proceeding within a period of three months on submission of the show cause.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Gopalganj to conclude the departmental proceeding pending against the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order failing which the order of suspension shall stand automatically revoked.

With the aforesaid, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
