In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 633 of 2017, registered for the offence under Sections 342, 386 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant is the contractor. Allegation has been made that the petitioner and one Gautam threatened the informant and demanded ransom. When the informant objected, the petitioner took away the golden chain and bracelet of the informant on the point of pistol.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is
