JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-12-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 485 of 2017, dated 13.12.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 366, 379 and 497/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The wife of the informant is said to have made attempts to take away the family property and belongings in the absence of the informant by gagging the mother of the informant. In the aforesaid act, the petitioner, who is the neighbour of the informant, is said to have helped the wife of the informant. The allegation of her having been kidnapped is not correct. Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner above named and also taking into account that he is a neighbour of the informant having clean antecedents, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Majhaulia P.S.
