The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with East Colony P.S. Case No. 31 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26(i), (ii) and 35 of the Arms Act.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court on three occasions.

It is submitted that the case is triable by the Magistrate and the petitioner is in custody since 31st of May, 2014. Till date only three out of six witnesses have been examined on behalf of the prosecution.

Considering the period of custody undergone, the
