2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Galgalia P.S. Case No. 38 of 2024, registered on 31.05.2024, for the offences punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution, an FIR has been lodged against the petitioner along with other accused persons, alleging the theft of a computer.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is a lady. Counsel also submits that the petitioner's name has figured in this case solely on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused. It is further submitted that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean, as three criminal cases are pending against her, in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23025 of 2025(2) dt.30-04-2025 2/2 which she is on bail. Counsel also submits that, based on the allegations made against the petitioner, the offence is Magisterial triable in nature.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean. She was earlier accused in two NDPS cases also. Counsel further submits that the petitioner's name has figured in the present case by virtue of the confessional statement of the co-accused, who stated that they had sold the stolen computer to the petitioner.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Trial Court within a period of 4 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj, in connection with Galgalia P.S. Case No. 38 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Aman Kumar/- U T
