The petitioner seeks bail in Maniyari P.S. Case No. 200/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402, 414, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1A), 25(1-AA), 25(1-b)a, 26(ii), 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S Act.

The petitioner was apprehended along with ten other accused persons, but only one Samsung mobile is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner Arvind Kumar. No arms and ammunitions or any narcotic drugs or psychotropic substance was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail since 29.10.2016.
