The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "To set aside the impugned Order dated 18.

10.2022 passed by the District Magistrate, Buxar in Case No. 110 of 2008 as contained Annexure-P-10 of this writ petition whereby and whereunder the prayer made by the petitioner has been rejected without proper consideration of the fact and circumstances as well as orders as contained Annexure-P-3 passed by Consolidation Officer, Itarhi, Annexure- P-4 passed by the Sub Divisional

Patna High Court CWJC No.6497 of 2023(2) dt.30-10-2023 2/2 Magistrate, Buxar and Annexure-P-5 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-4, Ara of this writ petition and order passed by this Hon'ble High Court (Annexure-P-9) and illegally held therein that orders passed by the Sub Divisional officer, Buxar (Annexure-P-7) and Circle Officer, Itarhi (Annexure-P-6) are Just and proper."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
