Mrs.Binita Singh, Advocate ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 16-07-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the Bihar School Examination Board for correction in the father's name of the petitioner.

Mrs. Binita Singh, learned counsel for the Board has drawn attention of the Court to the time gap between the examination and the prayer made for correction. The petitioner appeared at the examination and marks sheet and other documents were issued in 2000 by the Bihar School Examination Board and after 19 long years the petitioner has approached this Court.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, the Court is not

Patna High Court CWJC No.13804 of 2019(3) dt.16-07-2019 2/2 inclined to grant any indulgence to the petitioner as the writ petition is belated one. However, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to approach the competent authority for correction after following the due process under the common law for correction of name of the father of the petitioner. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
