The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No.928 of 2018 arising out of Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 741 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of minor quantity of illicit liquor from the bag being carried by the petitioner upon him being apprehended while going to board at train. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 20.09.2018.

No.72643 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2, Jehanabad in connection with Excise Case No.928 of 2018 arising out of Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 741 of 2018.
