Petitioner was, allegedly, caught on 16.05.2016, while he and others had assembled to make preparation for committing dacoity and, on search, one country made pistol and three live cartridges were recovered from possession of the petitioner. Para- 3 of the petition goes to show that petitioner has criminal antecedent of some cases but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that when the petitioner was arrested in connection with the present case, police got remanded the petitioner in several cases, which had been lodged against unknown persons.
