In the present application, the petitioner, who has been made accused in Sahebganj P.S.Case No. 204 of 2015 dated 10.08.2015, has prayed for issuance of a direction to the respondents to transfer the investigation of the case to an independent investigating agency like C.I.D.
In my view, the application is thoroughly misconceived. An accused has no right to choose the investigating
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.971 of 2015 (2) dt.24-09-2015 2/2 agency by which the case against him should be investigated. Accordingly, the application, being devoid of any merit, is dismissed.
