JUSTICE MUNGESHWAR SAHOO ORAL ORDER 15-01-2015 In view of the fact that the pecuniary appellate jurisdiction of the District Judge has been raised to Rs.10 lacs by the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Bihar Amendment) Act 2013 (Bihar Act No.14 of 2014), this appeal is not maintainable before the High Court. Therefore, the office shall return the memo of appeal and the certified copy of the judgment and decree and court fee, if any filed, to the appellant. The learned counsel for the appellant shall receive the same from the office within ten days from today and then present the same before the appropriate forum within next one week.

Accordingly, this first appeal is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
