2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 304(B), 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A, 26 of the Arms Act.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that sister of informant was married with this petitioner on 25.03.2023 and after the marriage, the accused persons named in the F.I.R. including this petitioner demanded motorcycle in the form of dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, she was subjected to torture and cruelty by the accused persons and ultimately, she was killed.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this

Petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor committed any torture to the deceased. In fact, the deceased committed suicide, as she was not happy with her married life. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is in custody since 27.04.2023.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail petition and submits that petitioner is husband of deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against him of committing torture and demanding dowry. Deceased has died in an unnatural circumstances within seven years of marriage at her matrimonial home.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of offence and the fact that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against him, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
