This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 401, 412, 411, 413, 414, 420, 467, 468 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution story, in brief, is on the basis of self written report of the Inspector of Police-cum-Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Darbhanga Police Station that the informant is involved in looting the motorcycles and mobile phone. The petitioner confessed that he has taken participation in loot with other accused persons.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2016. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case. There is no allegation of tampering of the witness alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner's name has come on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused in the First Information Report. The recovery of theft of motorcycle is denied by the petitioner. It is, further, submitted that the petitioner may be released after completion of nine

On behalf of the State, the petitioner is named in the First Information Report.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 155 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, after completion of nine months in custody in the present case.
