JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No.285 of 2016, registered under Sections 341/324/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that on the issue of putting thela by the husband of the informant, the accused persons, who are brothers, started assaulting the informant's husband. In the meanwhile, one Vikash Singh gave a knife blow in the abdomen of the informant's husband.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence. There was altercation with the brother of the petitioner Suraj Kumar and he gave a knife blow.

No.15256 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 2 / 2 Having considered the fact that this petitioner gave knife blow in abdomen of husband of the informant causing grievous injury so the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No.285 of 2016, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar.
