The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhagwanpur Haat P.S. Case No.244 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 80/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The petitioner and others are said to have killed the daughter of the informant for demand of dowry. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 08.06.2025.

Considering the nature of allegation and also the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is dismissed. If the trial is delayed by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21722 of 2026(2) dt.07-04-2026 2/2 prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail. 6.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the observations made by this Court is only for the purpose of deciding this bail application.
