The petitioner has sought a direction to the authorities of the Municipal Corporation, Bhagalpur to issue a holding number in his name for which he has filed the prescribed form as back as on 15.1.2011 but no steps was taken by the municipality in this regard, hence the writ petition.

Considering the limited grievance raised by the petitioner and even in absence of the counsel for the parties I deem it fit and proper to dispose of the writ petition with the direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation to
