The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "a) For a direction upon the Respondents to give a posting commensurate to the stature of the Petitioner who has been kept awaiting for posting by the Department of Agriculture, Bihar since July, 2021 without any rhyme or reason.

b) For a direction upon the Respondents to pay the arrears of salary along with other benefits to the Petitioner along with penal interest as the Petitioner is not being paid salary since July, 2021 till date without any rhyme or reason."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.6289 of 2022(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/2 submits that since now the petitioner has been posted and pursuant thereof he has also joined, substantial relief has been granted to the petitioner, however, the only grievance which remains to be addressed is regarding non-payment of salary for the period he was waiting for posting, hence the respondents be directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders expeditiously. It is directed, accordingly.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
