In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No.187 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467 and 468 of the Penal Code.

Allegation has been against the petitioner that he has taken Rs.7.5 lakh for giving employment. The Court below has rejected the bail of the petitioner on the ground that he was absconding for more than two years.

The view of the Court below cannot be said to be wrong. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. If the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20969 of 2017 (2) dt.10-07-2017 2/2 petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for bail, the Court below will pass the order in accordance with law without being influenced by the order of this Court and taking into consideration the fact that other accused persons have been granted bail.
