In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 144 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 379, 427, 337, 338, 435, 436, 504, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per First Information Report, a road accident has taken place on the NH-2C as a result of which two persons died at the spot. The people of the surrounding villages assembled on the road and blocked the regular traffic from both side due to which there was a long line of vehicles remained standing. After sometime, they have called the higher officer for taking compensation and, thereafter, the people put the vehicle on fire.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20620 of 2017 (4) dt.07-07-2017 The petitioner is named in the First Information Report. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an employee of Power Mechanical Project Ltd. and, at the time of occurrence, he was going to attend his duty and has wrongly been trapped in the present case.
Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Chandan Yadav @ Chandan Kumar @ Abhinandan Kumar, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Kavindra Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dehri (Rohtas) in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 144 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
